Hari ni officially the starting of November.. Ya Allah, time moved very fast.. sedar x sedar dah finishing the 3rd posting.. so, tinggal 2 lg posting vital utk final year ni... Sumpah, aku sgt takut nk professional exam bulan 3 ni.. Ilmu mmg xpnah nk cukup, yg basic pn masih berlubang2, mcm mn nk jd dokter yg selamat ni??????

Huhu.. kerajinan kna ditambah, momentum kna selalu ada.. semangat kena maintain.. Doa, solat hajat jgn tinggal k Hidayah,, ingt pesan umi, solat hajat setiap hari jgn miss!!

Esok ade CPT, clinical proficiency test utk posting surgery. Well, its been a honeymoon posting. huhu.. kna bersedia, sbb boleh jadi ade student fail utk exam ni, so Hidayah, jgn pandang exam ni sbelah mata je k.. yet im still browsing internet for nothing... huhu.. (ala, rehat skejap je.. penat tau stadi dari pagi lg..) hehe

Ye, hari ni aku sgt rajin stadi. Mungkin kna letak dlm Malaysian book of record bahawa 1/11/2010 adelah hari plg rajin aku stadi sepanjang posting surgery..

hehe..

Lagi, cuti Deepavali start this coming wednesday till sunday. 5 hari tuu.. so, balik Klate la.. yeay!! Ingat nk ajak umi g spa, nk blanje umi buat massage ke, pedicure ke.. hehe.. tp aku rase mesti umi xse sbb mesti umi royak membazir!! uhuuuukk, tape, tape, try la dulu kan.. hehe.. btw InsyaAllah aku balik klate ngn bus slasa malam (tiket x bli lg tp maybe naik kt shah alam sbb nk tinggal Oranje kt Sakinah) then dtg balik ari sabtu ngn airasia flight kul 5.20 pm :)

till then, stakat ni sahaja.. nk sambung stadi, hari ni kan hari rajin sedunia.. :)

Menjelang tgh hari yg nyaman,

Sabtu, 30~10~2010...

Stelah 2 mggu berada di Teluk Intan, ak kembali ke pngkuan PPUKM.. Ke Hospital Teluk Intan, menghabiskan saki baki posting Surgery, sgt best sbb sgt tenang.relax.cool. Patients sgtlah baik & cooperative.. dan paling penting, tiap2 hari dpt teaching free..hehe.. Mr Rizal, Mr Pani, even Dr Tay, they are all very enthusiastic! I like them! wheeee... setiap hari relax, xde rush.. everything is slow n steady.. plg bagus, duk sana bangun awal. Plg lmbt pn kul 6.30 pg.. kalo kt hukm ni, ntah napela Subuh gajah tiap2 hari. huhu..adoyaiii.. bgn pagi, breakfast ala2 sembang kedai kopi gitu.. pastu ikut ward round.. aku suka wardround kt sini sbb mmg learn a lot la.. even ms wardround student tak di acknowledge, tp takpe, ms dia ajar/marah houseman pn, boleh dgr kan.. blajar la dr situ..blaja la dr kesilapan houseman tu.. nnt kalo dh keje jgnla ulang kesilapan tu..ok la, kang kalo dokter suh student present n manage patient kang, stress plak kna dtg tgk patient awal2 pg.. huhu.. teaching plak, anytime, anywhere.. klinik ke, lpas wardround ke, kt bilik scope ke, kt OT ke..sume pn jadi.. nasib baik x ajak Mr Pani buat teaching kt cafe je.. hehe.. best g OT sbb mesti akan dpt teaching.. so suk sana, keje bukak telinga besar2 spy dpt simpan dgn baik segala ajaran doktor2 hebat tu.. tp otak guna jgk sbb Mr Rizal ni suka pinpoint or sebut nama sapa2 tuk jawab soalan die.. suka, x stress pn.. :)))

Social life, pn best! duk serumah 7 org kt rumah bernombor 281, Taman Melur. hehe.. best rumah tu, ada TV yg tersangat clear,big enough n ada set sofa.. So sbb Tv tersangat clear, abes cite melayu aku sapu.. yg x miss lgsg, Chenta even fasha sandha bknlah tarikan utk tgk cite tu..huhu.. Qabil Habil, Asmara, cerita indon tv3 kul 2 tu, ape tajuk die, alisha, alisa ke ntah, pn tgk gak...kadang2 cerita2 miscellaneous kt tv 2 ptg2 pn tgk, xtau tajuk ape, menonong je tgk.. Siti kelembai yg x pnah tgk pn jadi..haha.. Kartun tv9 ptg pn tgk.. mmg hantu tv betol! nk stady pn x jadi.. huhu..

Jadi, 2 mggu honeymoon sudah berlalu.. Selasa ni ada exam, long case.. weeeeeeeeeeeee.... woooooo.. takottt.. x habis baca lg.. huhu.. mcm mn ni.. ade 2 hari je lg.. pagi ni, ingat nk stadi, tp tibe2 buat housekeeping n renovating plak.. hehe ..i like the new look of my room.. yelah, aku kan cepat bosan, so slalu la alih2 brg2 dlm bilik ni.. tp yg jd masalah plak skrg ni, printer plak xtaw nk letak mane.. adoi.. susah betol la banyak brg ni.. kalo la boleh kecikkan printer yg besar gedabak ni kan best...... haih..

Em, sudah tgh hari.. lapar la.. pg td bekfest ngn mee goreng.. tp skrg suda lapar balik.. Alhamdulillah, masih dikurniakan nikmat lapar.. So, nk g kuar mkn ni.. ngn sape xtaw lg.. plannye ngn Dila n encik bosan, tp xsure lg plak.. xpelah, bedal nasik Makyong pn ak x kisah.. hihihi..

ok then, c u again..

p/s: ms jmpe umi mggu lpas, ade berckp psl hal itu.. huhu.. klakarnye.. tp sumenye masih kabur, masih tiada hujung pangkal.. terpulang kpd umi, berserah kpd Allah. Semoga Allah mengurniakan yg terbaik utkku ;)

Assalamualaikum..

Alhamdulillah, hari ini masih diberikan peluang utk menjalani kehidupan sbg seorg pelajar, walaupon tertidur sms radiology conferens pg td. (@_@)

Tdk bnyk utk diceritakan. Kalau boleh, mahu mengurangkan MANIC dlm bercerita. hehe. ye, ak mmg manic! Spt yg diberitahu dlm entry lpas, ak mahu mengulas sedikit psl kepulangannku di Kelate mggu lpas. Ak balik 2 hari je. Sbenarnye mula2 agak keberatan utk balik, sbb balik pn utk mengemas barang2 dlm rumah. Umi pn x suruh balik. Tp aku kesian la plk umi sorg2 nk kemas 1 rmh. dhla rumah bnyk gileeeeeeee barang!! Tu pn, masa ak balik, brg2 besar, perabots katils sume da xde, dh kna angkut. Umi upah org angkut ngn lori. Ms ak ad plak, 3 x g angkut brg. First dgn storm, crv, wira. Second crv saje. 3rd storm ngn crv. Tu pn x clear2 lg.. Ak bajet, ak smpatla nk tlg kmaskan rmh baru tu tp xsmpat jgk. xpelah, umi tggu mimi balik mggu ni plak utk urusan sterusnya.

Masa ad kt rmh tu, adelah jgk bercakap2 ttg sesuatu ngn umi.

Hehe, lain2 tu, umi slalu pesan, DUIT jgn boros sgt. Simpan duit sbb duit tu, bile dh pergi mmg xkan dtg balik dah. Ye, ak mmg boros gile, n ak xtaw mane duit ak pergi. Tiap2 sem pn duit jpa habis & bkn stakat habis, kna mintak support ngn PAMA lagi. huhu. adoila susahla.. ak ni jnis xleh duit ad bnyk kt tgn. mulalah sasau duk pikir nk beli tu nk beli ni. huh....

jadi, stkt ni dulu lah utk kali ni.

ptg ni kul 4.30pm ad teaching ngn mr christopher, sambil adik2 tahun 3 nk buat long case.

1. Scholar sudah masuk, Alhamdulillah.. (makcik ngah kayo niiiii)

2. Pagi2 lg menerima call dr umi. Umi sgt gembira dgn perkhabaran itu.. tp bg aku, adekah berita itu baik atau sebaliknya?? Malu la I nk cerita kpd umum..hikhik

yeah, Alhamdulillah, its friday again!!! like2!! it's only 11am but im just sit back and relaxing at my room. hehe. Well, tried to do something beneficial at ward but, i've seen most of the patients, know the cases, plus when 1 approched some of them, they refused. (ekceli ade je lg yg mcm boleh di approched, tp bile dah dasar pemalas tu, mmg pemalas jgkla kan!!hehe).. tp kalo ak xbalik Klate ptg ni, mmg nak je masok OT, ade case of perforated appendix, for appendicectomy.. Tp xpelah, xde rezeki. hmmm..

okie2.. now i'll continue my story last night. Mlm td too tired to membebel even hv the urge to do it! hehe.

Okie, as i mentioned earlier, i was on-call yesterday. I followed evening ward round after a teaching session with Mr Chris. When we (doctors n medstudnt) were at A&E, Dr got a phone call from ward, telling that a female patient was not responsive. We rushed to the ward. When we arrived, she was unresponsive. ECG showed asystole. BP unrecordable. Cold peripheries. Then, code blue activated. (code blue is basically referred to an emergency team who is in charge in collapsed patient or other emergency situation). In the meantime, we, the Drs, nurses, and MEDICAL STUDENTS tried to save the patient's life. We followed all the protocols required, resuscitation, before pronouncing the death of the patient.

Erm, we couldnt save the patient, but we tried hard. The main thing that i want to stress here is that, final year medical students have the certificate to do the CPR, cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Im so so upset (my colleagues too) when a Dr from medical dept ( i dono why he came as he appeared when the resuscitation was going to end), arrived and dgn muka pelik dan bongkaknya tanye Dr kt situ, why meds students do the CPR? they cant do that, where's HO? (HO tgh cari drugs yg dimintak oleh anesthetist) dan dgn muka blagak tahap x ingat duk membebel kt doktor2 yg tgh sibuk resus, duk ckp itu & ini tanpa buat ape2! hey pleaseee.. menyampah taw x..

Bukan aku saje je x suka his presence kt situ, rupenye Dr2 lain sempat ngumpat die lpas abes tu. huh! Aku geram la, kejadahnya dia dtg semata2 nk kutuk kitorg? Salah ke resus patient? huh! Dhla x kasi kitorg wat CPR! hello, ni bukan A&E ok! ni bukan A&E yang resus team sentiasa bersedia dgn staff yg cukup. Kalo kitorg x buat, sape nk gilir2 buat. Penat taw x wat CPR, dhla biasenye kene wat 1/2 jam at least. X kisahla kalo org nk ckp aku terlebih smangat, pdhal CPR je pon, tp it is an experience taw bile get involve dgn situasi mcm tu. Nak experience, xkanla nk berdiri mcm pohon pinang sebatang kt situ. Kna la proaktif.

Masa kitorg posting A&E, bile kitorg get involved in resuscitating patient, Dr siap ckp tenkiu lg.. kitorg dpt experience taw.. tenkiu ke x, tu bknnye kami mintak, tp at least bg la pluang kitorg hands on. Kalo x practice dari sekarang, masa houseman nnt blurrrr...Si blagak tu plak dah die duk suh HO tu buat, HO tu lg la xde certificate sbenarnye.. (x marah kt Ho ni, HO x bersalah).. tp Dr laki tu mmg la aku geram since ak posting medical lg. Suka underestimate medical student. Dahla jarang pegi ward. Berlagak nk mampos! padahal dia dulu pn student jgk! siyess aku sgt geram, smpai dh tahap emo ni.. geram..

huhu.. sabar ye Hidayah, sabar2.. tgh2 hari Jumaat ni elok bersabar. hehe.. xpe2, ak dh cool down, tp sisa geram tu masih berbaki sikit2 je. Hehe..

Eh dah kul 12 lebih, nk kemas barang, nak balik klate pasni. Bus kul 2.30 hentian Putra. Then ak dtg balik pd hari Isnin naik airasia jam 9.00pg dari Airport Pengkalan Chepa.

Assalamualaikum..
Im so so tired at the moment. It was a full day. Started with the morning round, then went to Vascular radiology conference (fallen asleep), then continue ward round until 12 noon! perghh.. can develop varicose vein la if everyday pn like this!.. then have an afternoon rest, solat. Lucky that i was fasting so no need to waste the time for lunch. At 2 something, waiting for HO to do wound dressing. Wait n wait, he said he wanted to do it at 3 something. So we went to ERCP room. Patient didnt arrived yet. While waiting for the patient, we looked for the Stoma Nurse. At last met her at Klinik Urology. Had an interactv session regarding stoma care. Then back to ERCP. The ERCP was in progress. Finished ERCP, had a Q&A session with Dr Hafizul regarding ERCP. Then back to the ward. The HO was nowhere, still not started the wound dressing. Too tired to wait, saw a registrar in my team doing PM round. Approach to follow her but then she asked us to go n see newly admitted patient, lodgered at Ophtal ward. So we went to see him. It was an appendiceal abscess, could feel clearly the swelling at the right iliac fossa and right lumbar region. Satisfied! Then go back to ward round. At 4pm, dismissed wardround for a teaching session with Mr Chris. Thank God he is super3 nice!!!!!!! teaching until 5.45 then continue evening round. Went to radiology dept, then to A&E. At A&E, our registrar got a call from ward, saying a patient was collapsed! We rushed to ward Surgery 2....... ..then.....
aahh.. too tired la to tell everything at the moment. Now im preparing for tomorrow round, post call round. I'll continue my story later2, k...

p/s: I wish i could scream at him, "pls la Dr (thank God i dono his name), we, final yr student, all have the BLS certificate, expiring next year. SO..IT IS NOT A BIG MISTAKE FOR US TO DO CPR OK!!! why i say so?? wait for the next episode.... :P

Assalamualaikum.. Alhamdulillah, jumpe juge akhirnye dgn Sabtu yg dinanti... yeah, i like Saturday very much! Sbb cuti..! Sbb boley berehat.. sbb boley bgn lambat, tido smpai lebam!! oyeah..

Smalam hari Jumaat.. g ward agak lambat dari biasa, kul 8 lebih. Purposely! So lpas Subuh, smbg tidooooo.. (^_^)... seronoknye, jarang dpt pluang ni kalo ms weekdays. Ingat ade teaching ngn Mr I kul11.30pg, so carilah patient utk long case. Dr nak 2 cases of abdominal carcinoma. Aishah dh ade 1 case, iaitu Ca of the head of pancrease. Then ak ngn Aija g cari la patient sorng lg. Susah la sbb ramai dh post-op. Nak xnak, terpaksa la clerk patient with transverse colon ca, tp dh post-op for a few days. Xpelah, clerk jelah. Untung2 bleh wat case write up sbb dia present with features of intestinal obstruction. Seronoknye, uncle tu sgt2 cooperative. Suka2!! heheee... pastu kul 11.30 Aish call blk Mr I, tgk2 die ade emergency OT. Dia nk wat mlm ni, tp ade ahli grup yg nk balik rumah. Aku on je kalo nk buat teaching mlm pn, sbb sah2 mlm Sabtu ak xwat pape. hikhik.. Then dr nk wat ari Isnin. ok, noted! Lepas tu, turun ke klinik surgery, cari prosedur. Alhamdulillah, dpt wat wound dressing 1. Aija wat urinary catheter 1. Ok lah tu. Posting surgery tu lah yg penat, bab2 cari prosedur tuu... adehhh.... Tgk2, dah tgh hari. Kul 12 lebih. Nak g A&E la, untung2 bleh wat branula ke, venepuncture ke. G A&E guna laluan staf. Masuk2 je, sedaaapnye bau.. diorg wat jamuan raya! waaaa.. tercabar keimanan aku yg berpuasa. huhu.. siriyes baunye sgt sedap! huhu.. namun apekan daya..... terus menuju ke secondary. Sesampainye, tgk ade plak MA yg kerek tuh! huh! seb baik ade Aija n Aish, kalo x mmg aku dah blah! Lpas tu diorg tukar shift, dpt ngn MA yg kamceng ngn aku ni. Bdk lg die ni. Tp baik. Dia pn menggalakkan students buat sbb die malas. Hehe. ok, noted!

Pukul 3, g ikut stoma nurse bgtau patient psl stoma care. Patient ni baru wat stoma, so staff nurse bgtaw die cara nk sedia, guna, basuh stoma tuh. Kesian la tgk org pakai stoma ni.. hmmmmmm.... pastu kul 5 g pbl Prof Shahrir psl endocrine emergencies.
Aku rase hr ni agak baik la. Sbb ade je mende nk buat. Dan aku xletih wpon xbalik bilik tgh hari tu. Maybe sbb tido yg cukup (terlebih actually) menyebabkan ak sgt segar spnjg hari. (psst, ekceli ade terlelap kejap ms klas ngn Prof shahrir, huhu)..

Jadi, hari ini, Saturday, ak nk kluar ngn Idayu n mommy Yuzi.. weeeeee...
